The KB Lodge North Lake Tahoe project is the embodiment of the Kings Beach Vision Plan, providing updated accommodations to revitalize the commercial core while maintaining the eclectic character, and enhancing the economic livelihood of the community. It is a mixed-use project located in the center of the Kings Beach Commercial Core.

The project is designed to be a catalyst for incremental redevelopment in the Kings Beach commercial core, creating new jobs, encouraging new visitors, and increasing tax revenue for the city of Kings Beach.

Site rendering for KB Lodge

Design was developed through careful consideration and melding of the area’s history, fire safe materials, ability to withstand snow load and weather conditions, and ability to age well. We looked for inspiration in Kings Beach and surrounding areas.

The hotel is scheduled for 45 parking spaces on the street level. Access in and out of the parking lot will be off North Tahoe Boulevard. Screening on the street level will be provided so cars are not visible to pedestrians.

4,100 square feet of public patios and walkways are available surrounding the project. Local art, benches and tables, small busking stage, and toddler play area are being considered. The rooftop bar and restaurant will be open to the public, as well as the small meeting and event space on the second floor. 5,000 square feet of commercial space will be open to retail, food & beverage, and other businesses for the public to shop and enjoy.
